Jury's sits on Main Street beside Gibraltar's law courts, and the name has stuck for good reason. Barristers, clerks and jurors have been taking their coffee here for years, along with everyone else walking the length of Main Street. Tables spill onto the pavement in the sun; inside it is cooler and quieter.
It is a cafe in the morning and a wine bar by evening. Fifteen wines are on the list and every one of them can be had by the glass, poured from a gas-preserving dispenser that keeps an opened bottle as fresh as the moment it was drawn — so a single glass of something good is never a compromise. There is draught and bottled beer too, and the kitchen runs from a full breakfast through to sharing platters.
